Spirit & the Guide is a progressive house music project of Shanghai-based DJs Super Mario and Roberto Frattini (from India and Switzerland, respectively). Brought together by their mutual appreciation and passion for progressive sounds, they began collaborating. Shortly after, they began a new project with each bringing unique influences from their own personal musical backgrounds and fusing different elements. The result was a synth-driven sound led boasting of mystery and an alternate groove. Their music speaks of global sounds gathered over the years acquired from stompers on a good vibe. Spirit & the Guide’s debut EP, Rebirth was released in 2019 on an Indian record label went on to receive some appreciation. This was followed by their second EP Desert Dwellers released in 2019 and made it to the Top 10 Releases worldwide on Beatport.
